Thanks for the corrections. I missed typed. From my source, "Seed of Jacob" by Dell Spires Jeffcoat, John Lawton Harley married Estelle Kemp (and Thomas married Clara).

Do you have other history on John? Did his sisters Lillah and Mary Elizabeth marry? who? where? Did both go to AL with father?

I have been looking for Walter's burial place here but I now think he's probably buried somewhere in AL. Could you tell me where he's buried? Do you know where his 1st wife was buried? (She's probably in SC) Were there children from his second marriage? Is his 2nd wife Zelpia/Zelphy from SC or AL? What was her maiden name?

Interesting notes: Walter Beauregarde and his brother William Daniel married sisters, Georgianna and Mary Elizabeth Jeffcoat, daughters of Elijah H. Jeffcoat and Martha Ann Williamson. Their sister Mary Ida Harley married David Jeffcoat. Walter Timothy, their father left land bordered north by the North Edisto River and West by the Blackville Road, which is today HWY 3. (Look on a SC map for the crossroads of HWY # 3 & HWY 178 and you find the land deeded to William Daniel and Mary Ida. From crossroads, half way to town of North and find area of Walter Beauregarde's Mill tract" land (on Salem/Glaziers Creek (new name/old name).

I'll send you something in the mail soon. Thanks Rachel
