Here's my info:
HEINRICH GUSTAV HARMS father of JOHANN GEORG HARMS (b. 12/27/1856 Oldenburg m. Anna Alma Margarete HALLER on 04/28/1881 in Oldenburg, he died 11/03/1940 in White, Brookings Co. SD) father of JOHN GEORGE HARMS b. 08/23/1883 d. 1963 Aumsville, Marion Co., OR m. 12/11/1908 to Clara Louise GRIEPENTROG. Father of RALPH GUSTAV JOHN HARMS, father of Ralph John Harms, Jr., father of John Kruger Harms and myself. I just learned that Heinrich came from Varel by the North Sea in the Kingdom of Oldenburg. It seems our name was originally JANSSEN-HARMS but Janssen was dropped after arriving in America. Itís also believed that Heinrich followed his son Johann to America 7 years after John. I have most of the birth/death info on everyone if interested. Tell me about the boat please? Whatís OSB?
