I didn't see a follow-up to your posting so here goes: Leonard Harriman, b. 1622, Yorkshire, England married about 1648 to Margaret Palmer. She was born 1628 and was the daughter of Thomas Palmer and Ann?. Thomas was the son of Thomas (1595). Leonard's father, also Leonard, b. 1590-95 in Yorkshire and died 1620 in Yorkshire. We don't know he was married to. Does this help?

My father's mother was a Harriman from NH. Daughter of Allen Harriman who with his two brothers served NH in the Civil War. One brother was captured at Olustee (FL) and taken to Andersonville where he died.
