Barbara, it looks like we go differant ways at Leonard and Margaret Palmer's children. I'm from Matthew's line which was Jonathan's brother. Your birth dates are the same as mine in most areas but I have Leonard's father as Matthew b 1586 and he had the two boys, our Leomard who was England and d. May 6,1691 in Rowley, Ma. and John who d. in New Haven Ct. Nov. 21,1683. I have quite a bit of info to confirm this. I've gotten most of it off the net but try to find at lease three different sorces with the same info before I feel it's correct. I have all this info on Family Tree Maker and have used some of their discs which is a start but the Net search engines have been the most help so fare. I've also got a cousin in Maine that's been doing this a lot longer then me and has helped a lot. In fact we are doing two other lines now William Rogers and Richard Emery. It keeps the head swimming with information. So Barara this is what I have from Leonard as far back as I can find so far.
(1) Matthew Harriman b. abt 1499 m. Isabel Shepard b. 1507
They were from Uldale
Children were Leonard b. 1550
Matthew b. 1554
John b. 1558
Margaret b. 1560
James b. 1567
(2) Leonard b. 1550 he was married twice first wife unknown and second wife was Janet Scott b. 1560. With first wife he had a son
Matthew b. 1586
(3) Matthew b. 1586 (wife is unknown so far) had the two boys we've been talking about
Leonard b. 1622
John b. 1620
I'll try to cut and past some of the interesting info I have about Leonard's familey and his father Matthew. I hope this helps and dosen't get you confused. Bob
