Sylvester Harriman of Limington, Maine

I am trying to find more information on a Sylvester Harriman who enlisted on 30 Sept, 1862 into Company D of the 27th Maine Infantry during the Civil War. He was 44 years old and listed Limington,Maine as his town of residence. In American Civil War Soldiers database, the only other thing mentioned about him was that he was hospitalized in Portland, sick. As there is no muster out date for him, I am not sure if he was discharged after being sick or actually completed his 9 month service. I do not see him in census records, the 1890 veteran schedule, or the pension index. Perhaps he went by another name, as I am just not finding anything additional on him, including York County Cemetery records.

I hope that someone on this board knows of him!
John
