Hello Lois and Harriman Researchers,

Haven't touched base with you folks with an interest in the Harriman / Herriman surname in some time.

Descendants of Harriman are great candidates for testing Family Finder at Family Tree DNA.

Among the hits listed for Family Finder results for my husband whose mother was a Herriman out of Hardeman Co TN is a person named FISH among others.

This autosomal DNA testing is taking serious genealogy searchers much further back than the advertised three-four generations and with paper trails some are seeing results seven and more generations in the past. Since this test is for male and female searchers it opens a whole new world of possibility to the research arsenal.

Talk about getting around a brick wall and this may be one of the ways to accomplish that very thing.

Linda McKee
