Kelley....I am having a lot of trouble locating any information on my Levi Harrod/Herrod (and other spellings) before he showed up on the Marion County Arkansas census in 1850. He and Rhodice (and many other spellings) show they were born in TN. They moved to Pulaski/Prairie County between 1850 & 1860. Levi's brother was in central AR before Levi moved here. I've not been able to find anything definite on them in TN. On the 1850 census, Levi shows his age as 46, so I assume he was born abt. 1804. I have some family notes written in the 1930's by his grandaughter, but by the dates on them, a generation was skipped and I am not sure she had the information correct. I know Levi died between 1865 and 1870, he was not with Rdodice on the 1870 census. On the 1850 Marion County AR census, he was shown with Rodice, his son James Alexander Lee, daughter Elizabeth and orphan Josiah. On the 1860 census, they were in Pulaski/Prairie County, Elizabeth was gone, Josiah was gone, James Lee was still at home and a Dicy Cooper about 6 was living with them. I cannot make a connection with the Cooper family either. So much to unravel. Do you think we have any connection? Linda (ps, sorry slow to respond, I was out of state for a few days)
