Do you find any of the Harrod/Herrod daughters marrying a Rhodes/Rhoades/rodes? My ancestor Herrod/Harrod Rhodes is my brick wall !!!! I am thinking possibly his mother was a Harrod, thus giving him her maiden name. My Herrod states in census that his father was b. in Va. and his mother in Ala. My Herrod was b. 1828
