Gary, You are correct in every way. I made the mistake of confusing the different James Harrod's one to another. I also fully expected someone with more knowledge about the Harrod family than I to find fault with what I posted at this forum.
I believe that I can prove my Harrod family ancestry to James Herod, signer of the Cumberland Compact,at French Lick.
I also now know that the James Harrod, founder of Harrod's Station and James Herod in Tenn. are not the same person.
When I post anything to this forum in the future I will also show the sources. As I told you privately, I'm not interested in connecting myself to any family where I don't belong.
