Thank you for this information; if you do find anything else I would be very grateful. I am not entirely sure that we are talking about the same people as both Mary and John were definately born here in England, having had at least one son, Samuel, who remained here & went on to become one of the founding Bishops of the Peculiar People, a religious sect founded in the County of Essex. The information that both John Harrod & Mary Stockton went to the USA & died there came from the IGI records on the Family Search website. We have been able to find no trace of the death or burial of either here, but otherwise have no proof of them going west.
