Hi Kip, pls call me Gay (named for my grandmother!)I've never heard of the book you mention.I will certainly look for it at the Clayon Library(I live in Katy, TX - close to Houston).Do they have a similar book for Adams County, MS?This is where my James McCallum lived. I've found him in 1850 & 1860 in the MS Census, but would love to find out more about him and his wife Julia. She was first married to a Presbyterian Minister, I believe from the Natchez area.Do you know of any way I can get info re ministers?Unfortunately, his name was Brown not exactly an unusual name. You must be related to the Hartsfields?Obviously the Hartsfields & the McCallums intermarried frequently - perhaps we are distant cousins! You can contact me directly at [email protected] if you wish. Thanks for your info.Gay
