I am looking for the parents of Joseph Hartson b. circa 1818 in either Connecticut (probable) or Massachusetts. I have 2 census records for him and both are listed as his birth state. His wife Caroline was born in New York circa 1819. They had the following children that I know of:

Mary Hartson b.9 Jul 1837 in New York d.20 Jun 1904 in Albion, Calhoun Co., Michigan. She married Albert Calkins (1830-1837) and had 5 children. This is my line.

Charles T. Hartson b. abt 1839 in New York d.1932 in Jacksonville, Duval Co., Florida. His wife was Ursula (X).

Hiram Hartson b.Feb 1842 in New York d.3 Apr 1903 in Michigan. He married Evelyn Doty and had 2 children I know of.

Elizabeth C. Hartson b.abt 1844 in Ohio married Thomas J. Plumley.

Oscar Hartson b.May 1850 in Hoaglin, Van Wert Co., Ohio d.after 1930 in Jackson Co., Michigan m. Emma Ervina.

Malissa Hartson b. abt 1854 in Hoaglin, Van Wert Co., Ohio and was living in Michigan in 1860. No other information.
