My grandmother, Mary Elvina, was a Hartz before she married my grandfather, Adam Pydee. Her family came from Ugarstahl, Austria,(Poland), and emigrated to the USA in 1785. Her brother's name was August, or Augustus, and he had 5 children. Her father's name was Ernest, born Dec. 7, 1846. He emigrated to Canada in 1891.
