I was somewhat intrigued by this as it associates the name Mark with Thomas and makes the tie between the group around Swift Creek and Terrible Creek in Wake with Mark of Oglethorpe County a little bit stronger. Most people (including me) think Mark is a son of William or perhaps of the Moses who was in the same area but there is no real proof that I am aware of. I am reduced to trying to interpret naming patterns to try to tie these lines together. As I believe I tie in thru William but can't prove it I probably tend to try to force some of these relationships. It would be great if someone in either this Thomas line or Mark of Oglethorpe would join the DNA project.
