GERSHAM & Capt. JOHN HARVELL, Madison, ME, 1802, Info. needed

Does anyone have info. concerning the origins or identity of Gersham Harvell or Capt. John Harvellz? They probably came up from N.H. or Maine about 1800. A marriage is recorded in Norridgewock between Gersham Harvell and Mercy Martin on 18 June 1807, at which time both were said to be of "Madison" (probably the Mile and a Half Strip). They were interred in the Hayden Cemetery (she in 1829, age 39, and he in 1858 age 80). They were later moved to the Village Cemetery in East Madison. Is there a Rev. record for Capt. John Harvell? Kathleen
