Isham or Isom Harvell and Martha Alice Crowder

The Harvell's that I am searching for are Isham or Isom Harvell, born circa 1844, have also found as March 1842, in North Carolina, possibly death date 19 April 1917 in Walker County, AL, but not too sure if that is the right one. He married Martha Alice Crowder on 1 May 1871 in Tuscaloosa Co., AL.

Martha Alice Crowder is supposedly the daughter of Hamlet Newton Crowder and Alpha Ann Tyner. She was first married to Thomas K Smalley on 11 Sept. 1860 in Tuscaloosa Co., AL, before marrying Isham or Isom Harvell.

Isham or Isom Harvell and Martha Alice Crowder had three children:
1. My ancestor, George H Harvell, born circa 1873-1876, died 10 September 1928, married 1. Sarah Alice Allman 2. Mary Kathryn Dailey.

2. Mary Alice Harvell married ___________ Hosmer. Mary Alice was born in 1875.

3. Soloman Harvell, born 1879, married Candie Dailey.

I sure hope that someone out there can help me with this line. I would love to know where this Harvell line originated and who were Isham or Isom's parents? Any information that you could send to me would be greatly appreciated. You can email me at
