Regarding these divorce cases and the ejectment cases. I have copies of the legal documents if you would like to have more information. Mehitable sued for divorce because John H. beat her up. She got divorce for "bed and board". A legal separation basically. The second divorce was a full one on the grounds of adultery - John H had started living with Mary McPherson even though he was still legally married to Mehitable.

The ejectment had to do with a mill that someone else was encroaching on. I'd have to read the documents again. I can scan the copies I have and send them if you like. I think they would be fairly readable.
