Since your Pauline married in 1964, I would guess she was born about 1944. The last census released was only for 1930 so she would probably not have been born yet. Now if you have the name of her father and mother, maybe they are in the 1930 census. In 1930 there were no Harvell's listed in Pasquotank Co. index for the census. There were, however many Harvell's indexed in 1930 NC in general. A birth certificate was probably made for Pauline
and if you are a direct descendant of her, you might could obtain a copy from the NC Bureau of Vital Statistics for a fee. If she was underage, her parents would have had to sign for her marriage. If she is deceased, a Death Certificate should have the name of her parents and where they were born. You might obtain a form for the birth and death cert. on line by going to the NC government website....probably NC.gov.com or some such!
