Thanks again. My Ida Brown lived in the Warwarsing snd Saugerties area probably all of her life. She was still on the 1930 census as a widow living in the same area. For a short time, they had lived in Napanoch and Ellenville but then returned to Saugerties. I have tried some of the village and town clerks and libraries in this area for marriage and death information but no one has any information on her. The only way I can be sure that this is the right one is to find info on her marriage to Edward Simpson and after over 3 years of searching, nothing at all has turned up. I have been told that there is no info available on births before 1881 and I would need an exact date of death in order for anyone to find anything. The info that I have on "your "Ida Brown lists siblings as George, Pauline, Henry and Lillie. Guess I really have hit the brick wall.
