Hi - I'll dig through my Haessly stuff in the next day or two for that bible page. If I'm figuring right, your Philip Haessly, born 1829 (who married Barbara Romens and Anna Kahut) was a brother of our George, born 1838, and both were sons of Philip Haessly and Anna Maria Spohn. Was your Henry born in Sept. of 1886 in Campbellsport, Wis.? I have Henry on my chart with no birthdate or place - just as the fourth child of Philip Haessly and Anna Kahut - but the chart on gives the 1886 date, plus the location of Campbellsport. There's no marriage data. All of this is just to make sure we're talking about the same Henry! Several of the descendants of various children of Philip and Anna Maria (Joseph, Jacob, Johnathan, Sarah, Catherine, George, and Abraham) are working on their family history, and it's great to contact someone from Philip's branch. If there's any information that you would like on the family, just let me know - we've been very lucky in locating both the Haessly (Haesle) and Spohn villages in Germany, and have hunted through the old church records on microfilm. This is getting pretty lengthy - maybe we should continue this privately, and not overload GenForum.
