What a small world sometimes ... My wife has a very long LEWIS line in Dickson County, TN ... There were several marriages between the LEWIS and HASLEY families of that county ...

I just made the same connection you did and until someone proves me wrong, I'm leaving it as is ... Questions:

Who was Sarah C., William's wife ?? Who were her parents. I don't have any unattached "Sarah Lewis" in my data base and it is doubtful if anyone has anymore knowledge of the 9th, 10th and 11th district families of Dickson County than I do.

William R. Hasley was the son of William Carrol Hasley (b1825) and Elizabeth J. Lewis (b 1822) of Dickson County. Elizabeth J. Lewis was the daughter of William and Mary (Parker) Lewis. I believe that William Carrol Hasley was the son of Abraham and Letty (Parrott) Hasley.

I cannot guarantee as yet this is the same "William R. Hasley"
