1. Stevens HATCH was born 06 Oct 1733 in Abington, Plymouth, Mass. He was christened 06 Oct 1733 in Hanover, Plymouth, Mass. He died 19 Nov 1811 in Brookfield, Worcester, Mass. He was buried(1) in Spencer Old Cem. Spencer, Worcestor, Mass.

Residence: Removed to Spencer, Worcester, Massachusetts in 1770 and purchased the northeast part of lot 33. James Draper: History of Spencer from Earliest Settlement to 1860.
1776: Records of the Congregational Church, Spencer, FHL film 845609; “Mr. Stevens Hatch & Ruth his wife, members of ye church in Hanover by virtue of a letter of di___sion for said chh & recommendation to ours received into our Communion”.

Stevens married Ruth PRYOR or Prior 03 Dec 1761 in Hanover, Plymouth, Mass. Ruth was born in 1741/1742 probably in Hanover, Plymouth, Mass. She died 20 Apr 1824 in Brookfield, Worcester, Mass. and was buried(2) in Spencer Old Cem., Worcestor, Mass.
Death: Vital Statistics of Spencer, FHL SLC, UT pp 52 and 246; film 845608. Died age 82, Spencer; Worcester County Courthouse Index to Probate Records 1731-1881; FHL film 957853; Volumes 1 & 2; p. 650 and FHL film 859178, Administration of her Estate by Isaac & Josiah Slayton.
Stevens and Ruth had five children:

Thomas married (1) Molly PROUTY daughter of John PROUTY and Abigail JOHNSON 15 Nov 1787 in Spencer. Molly was born about 1770 probably in Plymouth Co., Mass. She died 19 Oct 1811 in Spencer.

4 M iii. Elias HATCH was born 29 Aug 1769 in Hanover, Plymouth, Mass. He was christened 15 Oct 1769.

Elias married Olive DRAPER daughter of Captain John DRAPER and Rebekah MUZZY 10 Nov 1791 in Spencer. Olive was born5 30 Jan 1774 in Spencer and died(6) 23 Mar 1858.
5 F iv. Ruth HATCH christened 13 Sep 1778 in Spencer.
