I have a letter in the files from Fred G Hatch, Concord NH, to my grandmother Mrs Hatch-stickel Brown, then of Stockbridge Mass. written in 1937 before I was born. In it he tells something of his part of the family and offered to send A Historical Sketch of the Hatch Family in America by Leonard K Hatch, given him by a member of the Dan Hatch family. I also have by late Grandmother's copious genealogical notes derived from it, beginning with Joseph Hatch.

Llewellyn mar Thelmo H Ames (?) of Nashua, N.H., had a son, Fred Ames b. Nov 30, 1926.
In 1886 Fred Hatch went to work for th Central Vermont R.R. in White River Junction where he worked 16 years. Over all he spent more than 50 years working for the railroad.
