Phillip H Hatch was born in Albany NY in 1899. He was the son of Leonard Hatch and Jeannie Higgenbottom and the grandson of Reuben Hatch and second wife, Marion Pearce. He married Emelyn Lichfield and had three daughters, Barbara, Jane, and Marion, (all married and presumed to be still living) He died in La Grange Ill at the age of 90, in about 1989.
Philllip Hatch was a pioneer in the development of diesel electric locomotives in American railroads and was an authority on railroad electrification.
Phillip, who is of the previous generation, his descendents and I are related through our common ancestor , Reuben Hatch, although my line comes through Reuben's first marriage.
