I've had a chance to show all of the postings to my Grandmother, and of course she had a lot to add. Here's what she said:
Regarding Edward John, whom you had previously listed as being married to my Grandmother Agnes' sister Alice. He was actually the son of Ema Lee Hatty and Joe John. They lived in Crowley, LA and had three children, the aforementioned Edward, who is now deceased, Helen, also deceased and Pearl. Pearl is still alive and is married to Gladdy Arceneaux.
Ema Lee Hatty John was the sister of Paul Hatty, my Grandmother's Dad. They had another sister whose name was Marie. Marie married Ishmael Moosy (sp?) and had no children together although he had children from a previous marriage. They lived in Houston, TX.
My Great-Grandfather Paul Hatty also had a brother named Joe Hatty who was married to Angelle Touchard and lived in Lafitte, LA.
Of course, you may already know a lot of this, but it sure is fun watching my Grandmother recount the stories.
She wondered as she read your postings whether you are the daughter of Henry Hatty? I look forward to your response.
