Sorry for taking so long to respond, I've been traveling quite a bit lately. My Grandmother is so excited to hear from you and to relate her stories to me. I've been hearing from Liz Jarvis who's also got some great information.
Regarding Joseph and Paul's sisters, they were Marie Hatty Moosy and EmaLee Hatty John. Marie and her husband, Ishmael, lived in Houston and had no children, although Ishmael had 2 children from a previous marriage. EmaLee and her husband, Joe, lived in Crowley, LA and had three children, Helen, Pearl and Edward. Pearl is the only one still alive, she's married to Gladdy Arceneaux and lives in Crowley.
My Grandmother seems to remember speaking with someone about visiting the St. Roch Cemetery in New Orleans, where her father and grandfather and some of the aunts and uncles are buried. She thinks it may have been with you. Do you recall such a conversation? Are you in the New Orleans area?
