Can you believe?I'm only just seeing that you responded, lol.Like two years later.
I think I remember the Melvilles.Or I should say, remember hearing about them.I could be remembering wrong and I will have to check with my grandmother, but I think she may have a photo or two with the name Melville on the back, and I remember one of them was a men dressed in his mothers clothes, lol.Clearly as a joke.My grandmother remembered the incident and when the picture was taken, and remember the man in it as being a very funny guy that she liked. She knew he was a cousin, but wasn't sure how. This was all in Gilroy, where she grew up.My grandmother is Elayne Myrtle Sutter (married Wallace George Sheldon), daughter of Pearl Lavern Haun (married Henry William Tell Sutter).Pearl was the daughter of Henry Haun and Rosella Robinson.Henry was the son of John Henry Haun (born Sept 4, 1849), John Henry was the son of Zimiriah "Zimry" Haun born April 10, 1822. Zimry was the son of Peter Haun born 1793.Peter's younger brother Nathan Haun, born 1810, was your ancestor.
