Betty Ann DOZIER was born Oct. 4, 1928 in Greene County, Iowa. She married Rex Jay HAUPERT on Sept. 2, 1947 in Nashau, Iowa. Rex was born Jan. 9, 1921 in Adel, Iowa. Known children of Rex and Betty are: Steven Jay HAUPERT (b. Aug. 31, 1948), Rex Gray HAUPERT (b. Aug. 28, 1953), and David Brian HAUPERT (b. Feb. 14, 1961). Each year an annual DOZIER family Reunion for the descendants of Leonard Dozier (b. abt. 1643 - d. abt. 1695) and more specifically the descendants of James Ingo Dozier (b. abt. 1703 - d. abt. 1791) is held in Pawnee, Illinois in the fall.
This year (2004) the reunion will be held on Sunday, August 8 at 12:30 p.m. in Pawnee, Illinois. Please contact me if you would like to attend -we would love to have you!!
