William and Anna Groebe Hauschild were my great grandparents coming here from Trebula, Germany about the 1850, I haven't looked it up so this might not be the exact time. When they left Germany, they had six children but the boy died on the ship coming here and was buried at sea. There were many more children than Bertha. Anna was the oldest, my grandmother was next, she was named Alma Wilhelminia, although there were times she used the name of Emma. Although when you say they lived in New Jersey, they did. But they also lived in Philadelphia. Anna died in 1921 and nine of them are buried in Sunset Cemetery at Langhorne, Pa. I did know that I had cousins named Hare, one of them was married to a Peggy and they lived in the Norwood, Prospect Park area of Pennsylvania which is suburban Philadelphia.I have more information if you are interested that includes back into Germany.
