CHarles Hause of Mendota, Minnesota took an extensive trip throughoout Europe at the age of 70. He was born in New York in 1817--letters were sebt regardubg his travels to Farmer (NY( Review ub 1883, Charles was the uncle of the editor. He was narrued to Anne Marie Disbrow of Barrington, Yates COunty, NY. A successful farmer in Minnesota, he decided to take this trip to see all the places he had read about. The letters he sent were printed in this publication?? I have the original noteboook/diary and am trying to transcribe it. Unable to find the Farmer Review publication. Evidently his letters were published for about 3 years. Anyone ever heard of these letters? Please notify me. Thank you, Joanne Elliott
