Hello. I have only recently began tracing my ancestry, however, my great, great, grandfather was Richard Havner, son of Obediah. My great grandfather Lee Havner settled on North Dutch Creek in Yell County Arkansas.
I have found Obediah Heifner/Havner was the son of Daniel Heifner/Havner b: 1770 in Lincoln County, North Carolina and Elizabeth S. Shields b: ?1850(this date can't be right).
Daniel's father was Frederick Dietrich Hefner b: Abt. 1724 in Germany.
