I have been back to the Mormon site and I now can't find the William 1672!I don't know where this came from or if it is a mistake. A few weeks ago I started to note down all the Hawkridges that were local and classify them according to places so that I could refer back to them quickly.I can't understand where he has come from. Sorry! I will check again.
I was interested in your father's comments. AlthoughI have no Lawrences in my family tree I have combinations ofGeorges, Williams and Johns in successive generations and after John & Ellen Bake's Martin no more Martins and no Richards, Rachels, Saras or Margarets at all. The last Lawrence I have found for Otley was married in 1651. Subsequently the males seem to be William, John and George. It is possible that he came from there. There are also one or two early dates for Adel.
Do you still live nearby?
Are all the dates you have given me for Goldsborough, inc. William's burial?
