Can you tell me about the line of Hawthorne's from Geneva Co., AL? My husband's ancestor was a Nathaniel Hawthorne. I do not know his date of birth for there are so many Nathaniels. My husband's grandfather was William Burse, born 1883, his father was Joseph I, born 1862. I think his father was Robert, born 1828. This family probably ties into the Hawthorn/Hawthorne line from Wilcox Co., AL.
