Pat, in my first message I mentioned that we had a Andrew Jackson Hawthorn(e) b. July 21, 1833, that left SC for MS and then moved on to AR.

His first wife: Laney "Linnie" Ann Pruitt was from SC. and they had the following children:
Andrew Daniel Washington Hawthorne
Mary E. Hawthorne
James A. Hawthorne
John F. Hawthorne

Second wife: Eliza (Ferguson) Sandjer
Children's names unknown

Third wife:
Mrs. Lizzie Phelps
Children's names unknown

I know that Andrew Jackson Hawthorn(e) served as a quarter master in the Civil War and that he shows up as living Hope, Hempstead County, Arkansas where he owned some 800 acres of land.
