Hello,

Researching a line of Hawthornes through:

Charles E. Hawthorne d. 9/13/1993, grew up Collinsville, AL, d. in Chattanooga, TN>

Father Grover Cleveland Hawthorne b. 4/25/1890 - d. 4/5/1970 (m. Flora Villa Agnes "Billie" Wood 1890 - 1957) he grew up in Cherokee Co., AL>

Grover's Father James Henry Hawthorne m. 2nd wife Lethann Glazner (second husband after J.H. is Brock) d. 1893 in train accident in Collinsville, AL. Furthest record is 1840 Cherokee, AL census noting J.H. Hawthorn (dropped e) with first wife Nancy (Cicero) and first son John James. Census indicates J.H., Nancy and John James all from South Carolina.

This has been a tough line for me to crack but upon finding the dropped "e" and checking this forum, someone can help me connect with other names mentioned in this forum.

Thanks,

Jeff
