I am trying to find some information on an Elder (preacher) Hawthorn from I think Robeson Co. NC and moved to Decatur Co., Ga. in early 1800's. Blazing the Hawthorn Trail. In Ga. they established a district called Tired Creek. My ancestor Wm. Clark was suppose to have followed him down. I am trying to make the jump from NC to Ga., I need dates, names, if I have the correct County..this jump from NC to Ga has been my roadblock. HELP!
