Mr. Hawthorne:

Thank you for your reply. I don't believe this is my family. Since my last post, I have found that my William was born in 1777 in SC. His wife was Elizabeth Canada b. 1788 in SC. They married June 02, 1805 in Effingham County, Georgia. In a record she filed in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana, Elizabeth referred to her Effingham County marriage record, in which her name was spelled Canada, but now spelled it Kenedy. She died c. 1870 in LA. He died in LA in 1841. If you make any connections to this family, I would be most interested. Thanks again.

Stephaun Paul
