Hello Graham

Thankyou for your website. It was most informative about Alice HAXBY.

I think I noticed an ancestral file or similar on the Familysearch site regarding this family as being in the USA.
I can't say for sure, without checking, but I think Alice died in Utah. Am I right?

Do you know of any other HAXBYs who migrated to USA or other countries?

My g grandfather George Walter HAXBY and his brother John Henry HAXBY, the sons of Emanuel HAXBY and Sarah BURDON, migrated to Australia in the early 1880s. They both married in Victoria, Australia.Their sister Elizabeth remained in Yorkshire, marrying 1st Spring WRIGHT and 2nd George Emanuel HAXBY (a cousin?)

Regards

Kerry
