Looking for anyone having relatives in New York or New Jersey. My grandfather was Razallah Hayeck born Aug 6, 1901 Aleppo, Syria came here in 1907. He changed his name to Oscar Hayeck as a child. His siblings were sister Nezha (aka Lizzie), and brother Elias. They had cousins, named Jimmy Hayeck (probably Jamiel), Mary Hayeck (who had TB when she was young, and then lived the rest of her life in a convent) and Celia (pronounced Seal-ya) Hayeck. They may have gone by the spelling of Hayek and lived in Paterson, NJ. Willing to share any and all information. Any other Hayek's or Hayeck's, don't be shy, maybe we will find some other connection!
