Hayes Family Genealogy Forum

Earlier (late 2000/2001) on the Quinn Family Forum there was a discussion on the Quinns of Lima, NY. I think there is a connection between them and my Hayes and Quinn families.
The 1880 US Census of Lima, Livingston County, NY, page 23, lists Rhoda Quinn, head of household, a white male, age 36, married, a farmer, born in Ireland, parents born in Ireland. Nora Quinn is listed as the wife, age 33, keeping house, born in Ireland, parents born in Ireland. The children are Mary Quinn: age 7, born in New York; James Quinn: age 5, born in New York; Nellie Quinn, age 3, born in New York; and Anna Quinn: age 3 months, born in Jan. 1880. I believe this Nora Quinn may be my great-grandfather's older sister, who it is said was 11 years older than he was. His name was James Henry Hayes, born in 1857. His parents, born in Ireland, were John Hayes and Bridget Ryan. The 1900 and 1910 US Federal Censuses also list this Quinn family. This is a breakthrough for me.
Would anyone like to exchange information? I need to find the immigration information of John Hayes and Bridget Ryan to trace them back to Ireland. I can also exchange details on the descendants of James Henry Hayes and his wife Jane Huena Buchanan. Thanks for any help. Nadine Hayes Messer
