I am searching information on the Patrick J. Hayes family in Binghamton, (great grandfather). He came to the USA in the 1880's from Ireland and was married to Ellen Hayes (maiden name not known). Ellen also came to the USA from Ireland.
I am trying locate where in Ireland they were originally from. They had seven children, Delia, Michael, John, Joseph, Dennis and Lena (Helena, maybe?)
Any suggestions where to look would be helpful. Have search the 1900, 1910, 1920, 1930 Census records which give immigration years for Patrick, 1887, Ellen for 1885.
