I am trying to find the father of SAMUEL MOORE, listed as Thomas on his marriage bond to ANN HAYSLETT, (b abt 1798 in Rockbridge Co, VA). Ann was the daughter of Andrew Hayslett Sr, b abt 1745-1805.
Ann was the youngest of 10 children born to Andrew & (? Martha)Hayslett. The first 5 born in Berkley WV, and the last 5 children born in Rockbridge, Co VA : Henry, Hannah, Andrew Jr (b 1778 m. Mary "Molly" Armentrout), Robert, Elizabeth, Mary, Jean, Ezekial, Nancy, ANN.
I was just going out on a limb thinking perhaps a Hayslett family researcher familiar with this family, may have alittle info on Ann's husband, SAMUEL. I have not been able to pinpoint his father even after given the name of Thomas. Perhaps he was not from Rockbridge.
I believe my SAMUEL MOORE was one of 5 children: Thomas 1785, Margaret 1787, SAMUEL 1795, Nancy 1797 and Hannah 1816.
