Hi Ian,
I found your info on this site after vainly searching the 1901 census info on-line for my Hull Haysom forbears. There is no entry for any Haysom in Hull!. This is strange, seeing that my mother was a Haysom from Hull & I knoe that her mother was married in Hull around the turn of the century.
For your information, my line of Hull Haysoms finishes with my mother's generation, there is no male carring on the name. Her parents were John & Emma (nee Watson), her siblings were Peter, Anne, Mary, Edward & Fred. (Edward was a Royal Marine & died on HMS Repulse, 1941)
Hope this may be of use to you and if you have any info on John & Emma that you could share I would be grateful.
