My husband's grandfather was Alfred E. Haysom b.1879 who emigrated with his wife and 4 children including his infant son Ronald and other siblings I believe to Ontario, Canada around 1905. Alfred later went to California and died there, but Ronald stayed in Toronto, Ontario. Janice Pope's ancestor was Alfred's sister Emily Clara who married Francis John Broquet. I have many family history details/dates from John Haysom in the U.K. and from Janice, but would love to know more about the Guernsey connection- why Denis Haysom went to Guernsey and why his grandchildren left for Ontario etc. Ginny
