Hi Chris, Interesting you should mention Van Haysom - my father John Haysom of Australia was very keen on the family tree etc. and before he died a few years ago had been trying to tie in the Haysom name with the painter Van Huysum who came over from Holland with William of Orange. But one would have to take a great leap to find his descendants as stonemasons in Swanage or farmers in Hampshire. My father still had not been able to match our family which harks back to Hampshire with those he knew of in Swanage. Val
