Hi Mark,
Yes, Edward was my g.grandfather's first cousin. He was the fourth of his immediate family to go to Oz. (Several cousins also went there - mostly to Victoria) Brothers William and George arrived Fremantle on the 'Simon Taylor'
1842 and the eldest brother Henry went to Victoria on the 'Royal Consort in 1844. Which of Ed's sons are you descended from? If you email me direct I can probably tell you more and put you in contact with another in WA
who has a wealth of info' too.
