I have since learned that Joshua HEAIRL was a real person and he Is the one who married Hannah BRADBURY, the book the Bradbury Memorial has an Error there. Joshua's name was not Head/Hurd or anything but HEAIRL/Hearl.
From the Church of Christ(Congregational) in Buxton, York Co., ME records kept by Rev. Paul Coffin, is the marriage of Joshua HEAIRL of Berwick and Hannah BRADBURY of Narragansett No. 1 (now Buxton) on April 17, 1766.
Also from the records of this church are the following Marriages
Joshua KIMBALL, Jr. married Abigail HEAIRL both of Buxton on May 21, 1789 (Abigail may also be a daughter of Joshua since he is the only male Heairl/Hearl listed in these records).
Mary HEAIRL of Little Falls (now Hollis) and James MOODY of Buxton married on May 31, 1795. (this is my relative...James Moody is a son of James MOODY and Elizabeth DONALD who were married in this same church in Jan. 1774).
Hannah HEAIRL and Asa SMITH both of Little Falls (Hollis, ME), married Jan. 11, 1798
Sarah HEAIRL and Andrew PALMER both of Phillipsburg married Dec. 13, 1801.
