Re George Hearn
I hope I might be of help. I am researching my late brother in laws family by the name of Hearn.
Details Edward Norman Hearn (Father Michael) born Ireland around 1861. Married Dublin Cathedral to Mary MacDonnall. It said on the wedding certificate that he came from Ballinrobe.
Last week I went to St Marys RC church Ballinrobe and went through the Parish records. Sadly I only found a certificate charge.
However I found these details that might be of interest to you
Baptism 13th February 1894 Mary Elizabeth of George Hearne and Mollie Gill. SPS John P ? and Miss Hearne
2.8.1895 Arthur of George Hearn and Mary Gill
SPS Joseph and Mary Gill
Patrick of george Hearn and Mary Gill
SPS Michael Hearn and Mary Hearn (by proxy in Birmingham)
That night I went on line and came up with a site somebody called Steve Harris was looking for info on twins Patrick and Arthur Hearn. It was dated 2003 and I tried writing but my e-mail got returned.
However there was an answer dated 2008 I have written to her but not had a answer. This is what she said
Mary Hearn. I am their granniece Mary Hearn. Patrick Arthur died in France WW1. Arthur returned home from the war and died shortly afterwards from illness that was attributed to the war. My family had a letter that Father Duffy wrote to my family about Patricks death.Father Duffy stayed with Patrick to the end. I have a picture of my Great Grandfather with either Patrick or Arthur We can't tell since they were identical twins in uniform. If you have any questions e.mail rmceptmtrr10verizon.net.
I hope I've been of help
