I am very interested in this family. I have a great grandmother, Jane Heater also born in Monroe County, ca.1829. She married Simon Howey in ca 1847-1848. They had seven children. She died sometime after the 1870 but I have
no other information on her. Do you have a Jane that fits this woman in your database.

I do have a very interesting article on the death of Christine Heater that I took from the newspaper microfilm at the Monroe County Historical Society last month. Please email me and we can discuss best way to get a copy to you.
