Fred: Is there an "Elias" Heater in your tree somewhere in the early 1830s? We're supposedly part Indian also, from the Western NJ/Eastern PA area. Elias is my great-great grandfather, and I believe his mother was the Indian. I have a photo of his son, my great-grandfather, Burton Heater, and he "looks" a bit Indian, like he may have a resemblence to his grandmother.
